In its continued efforts to capacitate the young to be independent & free from unemployment caused drudgery, the CII Skills Development Initiative has been consistently gaining momentum. The growing projects & stakeholder participation indicates clearly that skills development is recognized as a crucial component towards nation building & partners want to proactively contribute to the India development story.

LPS Group founded in 1958 by Shri. B. P. Jain is one such organization. It has been a socially committed organization since its inception. For over 7 years, LPS group has been providing vocational training to the local population with the vision "to help the underprivileged and the needy to be self-reliant & live with dignity".

To promote livelihood generation & self sufficiency, LPS group initiated its social entrepreneurship project and constructed a facility in Rohtak (Haryana) by the name of "Shri. B. P. Jain Skill Development Centre" The formal Inauguration of Shri. B. P. Jain Skill Development Centre was done on 10th March 2007 by Hon. Smt. Asha Hooda (w/o Chief Minister of Haryana). The centre aims provide skills training to the local youth under the guidance of CII - City & Guilds Skills Development Initiative. Through standardized & quality controlled training, the centre would produce highly skilled professionals with,

  • High employability rates.
  • Trained on international standards of competency.
  • Ability to grab lucrative jobs or be self employed entrepreneurs.
