WorldSkills India

India became the 48th member of WorldSkills on 20th January 2007 with CII as the member organization, which will represent India in all WorldSkills activities. Members of WorldSkills are a body representing a vocational education and training system of the country/region's commerce, services and industry. Only one representative body per country/region is recognized as a member.

Membership to WorldSkills International means an opportunity to formalize, structuralize & standardize skills development in the country. While it provides to the competitors an International Stage, it gives to the country an opportunity to understand & learn the best practices of other countries.
