The entire range of PPP schemes, from the ITI up-gradation to the Modular Employable skills scheme - the role of the Industry has been clearly highlighted. Not only that Training Providers, Civil Society Organizations, Global Partners, awarding bodies-all have been given ample space to contribute their bit into this skills arenaWhat are the policy initiatives with respect to skills today? Which are the PPP models?... " |

| "India today is ready with a basket of policies. There is one for everybody. From the rickshaw puller, mitahiwala, plumber, carpenter, welder, mobile repairer to the graduates & above. Each of them can undergo skills based training under the variety of opportunities being offered by both Government & Industry. Given the complexity of the Indian Education system-how ready are we to transfer policy initiatives into practice. Do these initiatives cover the un-organised & unemployable youth?" |
